Who we are
Reviews That Take Time.
Because Good Shoes Do Too.
Because Good Shoes Do Too.
Most shoe reviews are written within a week of unboxing. We think that's backwards. A shoe's real character — how it breaks in, whether it holds up, if the comfort claim is real — only emerges over months of actual wear.
Every shoe reviewed here has been worn at least a mile per session, 100 times, in the conditions it was designed for. We cover dress shoes, boots, and sneakers from $60 to $1,600. Some shoes are purchased; others are PR samples. Either way, reviews are never sponsored.
