Best Shoe Deals – Labor Day 2022
While Labor Day isn’t always the best deals in the world, it’s getting better and better every year. Sales have started to pick up, and this might be the time to pick up that pair you have your eye on.
I’ll be tracking sales as they pop up. Is there one I missed or are you having a sale? Let me know over at 100wears@gmail.com and I’ll get you added.
By the way, some of the links below are affiliate. These help keep the lights on here, but don’t impact the price you pay. When compiling this list, best price always comes first. Even if that means going with a store 100wears doesn’t partner with.
Alden
The Shoe Mart is offering $25 off per pair with code LDW2022. Unfortunately I can’t link directly as you need to be pre-approved to shop their seconds (just ask nicely).
Each year Alden seconds become a better and better deal. When the price for a pair of Indy seconds was set at $399, the MSRP was $549. Today, the price of a pair of Indys is around $650, but seconds are still $399 – or just $374 with the code above!
Plenty of shell cordovan under $500 with the code.
Grant Stone

Grant Stone isn’t running a traditional Labor Day sale, but they are running a sale on a few products that are being discontinued. First, their Tassel Loafer in Coffee Suede is down to $246. I’ve worn just about every kind of tassel loafer ever made, and the Grant Stone is my favorite. Full Review Here.
Second, they are discontinuing their run of Horween Essex. Essex is an extremely natural veg tanned that will develop a crazy patina. The Brass Boot and Diesel are both $285.
Helm

Helm is currently offering 20% off store wide, so if there is anything they carry that you’re interested in, now’s the time.
My personal favorite of theirs is the Zind (Review Here). In particular, I think the leather on the Teak for $236 has some of the most impressive pull up I’ve seen on leather. You can draw designs in it if you want! The Lou comes in a bit less at just $212, if you’re looking to get that leather for a bit less.
Nicks

Nicks is running 15% off in-stock boots and accessories, or 10% off their Ridgeline Hiker and Tactical boots. I think Nick’s must have just restocked because there are a whole lot more in-stock boots now than there were last week (there are 3 in my 11.5E size at time of writing, and there were none last week).
Prices depend on the exact make up ranging from mid-$400s to mid-$500s, and are as marked.
While note quite the same deal, Nicks is doing a limited run of boots in Natty Chromexcel. For whatever reason, despite being a limited run, they are actually $10 cheaper than a comparable boot in one of their standard Chromexcel colorway. $10 might not be much on a pair of $550 boots – but hey, $10 is $10!
Oak Street Bootmakers

Oak Street Bootmakers is running 15% off site wide with code DAYOFF. At time of writing it seems to work on everything, including these awesome Horsehide Cap-Toe Field Boots for $435. Other options include their Trench Boot for as low as $392, and the Lakeshore for $440.
Their wing tips are on a double sale and are down to just $295. I loved my pair, though the sizing requires a pretty large volume foot.
Viberg

Brooklyn Clothing Co has a number of Vibergs on sale, though sizing is pretty limited – pretty much only one or two sizes per style. Prices are all in the mid-$500’s, and include the really cool Green Suede Scout, Horsehide Country Boot, and the Wasabi Waxed Veldt Service boot.
White’s Boots

Brooklyn Clothing Co has a number of White’s on sale as well but, like their Vibergs, sizing is limited. My favorite is probably the MP in Yuma Caucho for $480, but right now they only have a 7.5 and an 8.
